The origin of the name "Ban Deng Mee" recalls the founder's grandmother, who ran a home-style noodle stall in Xiapao in 1986. The stall was always bustling with customers. Although patrons had to wait in line for a long time, the image that remains in the founder's memory is of customers sitting on benches, happily eating a bowl of steaming noodles. This hometown flavor also reminds the founder of the time when, as a child in the countryside, they watched their grandmother sit on a bench, hand-rolling pieces of dough for the family to enjoy. The noodles at Ban Deng Mee carry a taste of home, a sense of tradition. In the founder's memory, the bench represents not only a recollection but also the traces of a generation that has passed. Based on this memory, the founder decided to name the noodle shop "Ban Deng Mee" to express their appreciation for this memory and their pursuit of simple, natural food.
